Bayley

Bayley has been on the Route 66 team for a few years.
He first started his Barber journey when he returned to Bedford College (after completing the course in Music Performance a few years prior) to look to find a new creative platform. After completing his Barbering and Health and Safety in the Workplace courses, he began working as a Barber in Flitwick and then St Neots before finding himself at his home, Route 66!
Bayley’s favourite aspect of Barbering is providing a service that not only cuts hair and beards, but also offers a friendly conversation to the community of Silsoe. He’s known to bolster a variety of topics to engage customers in and most importantly, to give people a place to feel safe and comfy when they pop into the shop.
Bayley takes pride in the fact that he supports children (and adults) with Autism, the elderly who may struggle with hearing or mobility, people who are shy and may need a friend to talk to and many other needs for the community.
Bayley is in 5 days a week Wednesday-Sunday in the shop and is always free for a quick phone call to provide support that customers may need.
We are happy to have him on the team – Route 66 team
